Legionella Risk Assessments

Pegasus Environmental Consultancy Limited Legionella Risk Assessments are performed in order to ascertain the potential risk of contracting Legionellosis, including Legionnaires disease, from the water systems and associated plant and equipment serving the premises, to identify and prioritize any cleaning and remedial works highlighted and also to produce a scheme for the prevention or control of the risks. Our risk assessments are carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety Commission Approved Code of Practice and Guidance (L8 - Fourth Edition 2013)), "Legionnaires disease - the control of Legionella bacteria in water systems", and HSG 274 parts 1, 2 and 3.

The final report includes numerical risk values and ratings, which are vitally important in helping to prioritise any remediation work / maintenance of plant and equipment, and adopt precautionary measures, as well as a structured approach to dealing with potential problems specific to the site being assessed.
